It feels like forever since I wrote a blog post and honestly, I missed it! Since I came back from New Orleans, I have been swamped with getting ready for New York Fashion Week, which pretty much feels like a full time job in itself! I did not realize how much work and preparation needs to be done weeks in advance to make it work. However, I was determined to write about this gingham outfit for you all because I’m obsessed with the way it turned out!  View Post

It’s a part of my job to keep up with current trends in the fashion world. With the market being so saturated by fashion bloggers, it is sometimes difficult to find brands that fit in well with my aesthetic and appeal to my readers tastes. Occasionally, I come across brands that NEED to be shared with you all which is why I want to talk to you guys about Astr the Label.  View Post

Disclaimer: This is not a July 4th post. I’m just really obsessed with pairing red white and blue at the moment! This is actually a Nordstrom Anniversary Sale post. I could talk to you about this outfit and how awesome it is, but today I want to address another topic. Since the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale started and went public, I’m sure you have been bombarded by Nordstrom posts all over social media. At this point you’re probably wondering, “Why is every fashion blogger promoting the Nordstrom sale?” The answer is simple: it makes us money.  View Post

I have been shopping the Nordstrom Sale for 3 years now. Sometimes, the items that I want get sold out fast! Over the years, I have picked up some tricks on how to get what you want from the Nordstrom Sale and I wanted to share them with you today.

If you are not a card holder and have to wait to shop the sale after early access is over, I would strongly suggest adding items on sale to your cart and saving them to wish lists. This way, as soon as public access opens, you can add your entire wishlist to your cart and buy the items quickly.

Second, if you are unsure of sizes, buy multiples and return the items that don’t fit. Nordstrom has an excellent return policy and returning things you don’t want is super easy.

Third, if you don’t want to wait for your clothing to be mailed to you, you could buy the items and select in store pick up. I usually go with this third option so I can try on the clothing right there and then and whatever I don’t wait, I return in store.

If some items that you want are sold out, I would suggest checking back everyday because Nordstrom does restock items throughout the sale.

Hopefully these tips will help you get exactly what you want from the Nordstrom sale. Now let me talk to you a little about the jeans I am wearing. I was looking for some denim while shopping in store and I stumbled upon this Good American pair. The Nordstrom website doesn’t have great reviews on them but I tried them on anyways because I’m always skeptical of reviews. OHHH MY GOD! I’m so glad I tried them on you guys! These jeans are THE most comfortable and flattering jeans I have ever worn. I am 5’3 and majority of the times I have to fold my jeans up but right off the bat, they are the perfect length. They also fit like a glove and make my legs and butt look really good (if i do say so myself ) 🙂

If you can get your hands on them, try them on and let me know what you think. Because they are really fitted, I would suggest going on size up so that they feel a little more relaxed.

If you decide to enter the giveaway, good luck and happy shopping friends!!!

Much Love,

Sarah
