Although I like to cook more elaborate meals on the weekends, I tend to stick to easier foods on the weekdays. This healthy and delicious smoothie is full of healthy carbs aka fruit that will keep you satisfied for many, many hours. it has one of my favorite combinations of fruit– strawberries, pineapples and bananas. I even throw in a little chocolate flavored protein powder to make it even more delicious!  I usually like to have this smoothie either for breakfast as a post workout meal or right after my workouts because this also has 24 grams of protein that will help your muscle grow and repair. I absolutely love this smoothie– it is delicious and will aid to weight loss! This has been my go to smoothie for months now and I have not gotten sick of it (and that’s saying a lot). Strawberry Spinach Feta Salad


I hosted a dinner party for my family a few weeks ago and I wanted to make a light summer salad that everyone would enjoy so I came up with a Strawberry Spinach Feta Salad. This salad is so light, fresh and summery– the perfect start to the meal! Some might even argue that it’s almost like a dessert– except that it’s good for you so you can eat it guilt free (just don’t overdo dressing or cheese). Serving this to your guests will surely make them come back for seconds (I know from experience!).

Super Green Smoothie

Another Saturday, another recipe. Today, I wanted to share my Super Green Smoothie recipe with you all. This smoothie is full of super greens and tastes like a tropical drink. There are days when I don’t have the time to eat a proper breakfast in the mornings before I workout. As a result when I come home, I’m famished and need something quick but nutritionally dense to revive myself. This smoothie was created on a similar day. I was starving and needed food fast so I decided to use all the fruits and vegetables I had in the fridge to make a smoothie. This is what I came up with. The pineapple, orange juice and banana take away from the taste of the vegetables resulting is a super green smoothie that is  seriously delicious and seriously good for you!
